At The Heart of Jesus Church’s children’s ministry, we strive to teach our children the Biblical truths of our God to plant the seed of faith in their hearts. Every week, Mrs. Salem brings a new lesson from the Bible that not only teaches the children about people and stories in the Bible but also teaches them Biblical values and truths. We begin our classes with an opening prayer and time of worship where the children sing three songs and learn the importance of worship in the church. We then move on to our lesson time where the children learn about a new story in the Bible and the lessons, and examples are given on how it can apply to their own lives. We also try to involve some activities where children can apply what they have learnt to the activity. Mrs. Salem then plays a short video that tells the story once again, the desire is that this video solidifies the lesson for the children. We finish our lesson time with a snack and an episode of Superbook. After the children are done with their snacks, they have free time to play games and enjoy time together.
